Little break

Since I'm so close to finishing my first draft I've decided to take a teeny tiny break from blogging.  I hope to be back by the beginning of March. 

If my time away is as productive as I think it will be then my return post will hopefully be to announce the completion of my first draft.

50,000!

It happened!  Finally!  Yesterday I cracked the 50,000 word count on my WIP.  It's been a long time coming (almost 5 months) and I'm so glad I'm finally there.  I also plotted out the last part of the book and I (think I) only have five chapters left to write before I'm done with the first draft.

Alright, my little online celebration is done and that's actually all I have time for today.  Let me know what you're celebrating this week!
